JKA/WF Belarus Welcomed Professor Petra Karlova

From May 6th to 11th, 2024, JKA/WF Belarus had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Petra Karlova, a respected karate instructor and university professor specializing in East Asian studies from the Czech Republic, during her visit to Poland. Professor Petra participated in multiple karate sessions led by JKA/WF Belarus Chief Instructor Dmitry Osika, held at the Dragosfera and Sanga dojos. Her training included a dedicated private seminar for black belts, where Bassai Dai kata and Jiyu Ippon Kumite explored in-depth.

Professor Petra Karlova has been a valued friend of JKA/WF Belarus since our first meeting in Japan in 2015, where she was residing at the time. Our annual meetings, which continued until the interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, have consistently strengthened our bond through a shared commitment to JKA karate and Japanese studies.
